BENJI MADDEN MOVES ONTO PARIS

Well it certainly didn’t take Benji long to move on from one blonde to another now did it? These two are apparently “official” and spent yesterday afternoon shopping together and holding hands at Fred Segal. I have a number of issues with this hook up…

1. Nicole Richie has a kid with Joel Madden so Paris tries to do her best to copy Nicole by taking her boyfriend’s twin brother. Expect Paris to be knocked up with twins by the end of the week.

2. Doesn’t being a lead singer in a band mean you can get pretty much any chick you want? WHY would you go after Paris Hilton? EVERYONE has been there, even gay Ian Thorpe’s been there!

3. While I said from day one that this Sophie Monk engagement business was a joke that would end momentarily (and I was right), they broke up a month ago and he not only moves on already but moves on with the biggest media whore in the world? Not cool.

Gee, what a surprise this is. Benji Madden and Sophie Monk have ended their relationship. Sophie’s agent, Yoon Kim released this statement:

“Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable.”

This was more of a bullshit relationship than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Let’s re-cap shall we? Sophie moves to LA to try and and become the new ‘IT’ girl. So to help her along with some publicity, why not date someone who’s already famous and mooch off them?

 But Sophie has got a number of roles in things like Click and Entourage so I should give credit where credit’s due. All those naked/bimbo roles must have been tough.
